Mochana De-addiction & Counselling centre is a holistic treatment centre for alcoholics and addicts. Started in 1993,the centre has treated about 10,000 alcholics/addicts during the last 22 years. The centre is situated at manganam, about 5 km away from kottayam town, along kottayam-puthupally road and near mandiram hospital. Mochana is managed by kottayam-kochi diocese of the Mar Thoma Church. The De-addiction ministry is run with the help of a dedicated team of trained personals that includes a Director, Manager, Counsellors, Doctors, Nurse, Office staff, canteen staff and volunteers.

OUR TREATMENT PROGRAMME
Normal treatment duration is of 15 days but it may vary according to the individual needs and problems. One family member ( preferably wife if married) is required to stay with the addicted person during the course of treatment. We have facilities to accommodate 20 persons/families at a time. Treatmenrt at this centre includes medical care, awareness classes, experience sharing, Counselling, prayer, meditation & yoga, games, community living and alcholic anonymous fellowship. Poor and needy will be given necessary concessions.
